Well I think the biggest issue is people living too close to the ocean but that's a world-wide issue. They've developed areas and even filled in whole areas with manmade land masses without realising the ocean will eventually reclaim those areas. A case of not thinking ahead into the future I'd suppose, and not implementing crucial sea protection.
