I heard that when I go on a website all the pictures on that specific page are downloaded on to my computer,if this is true do the pictures get saved in temporary internet files or somewhere else and can ccleaner delete those pictures

They are saved as temporary internet files / cache files depending on your browser. If you're using Chrome, they'll be saved as Cache files.
