photo files found but some do not have previews--?

The software worked, and it found my photo files, however the ones i need do not show a preview, does anyone know why or can tell me what to do to get the previews?

Filename: = my file--it found

Path:==found my drive it was on

Size = my file size

Creation time==correct

Last modifications=correct

Last access time==correct

Comment: This file is overwritten with "X:\?\My file"

then it says xxxx file cluster(s) overwrtitten ------ a list of numbers

XXXX cluster (s) allocated at offset xxxxxxxx

so how come it found my file but could not give me a preview????

Need to know ASAP, thanks for any and all advice.

It appears that the file name and data cluster numbers have been found in the file table, but the data clusters have been overwritten (subsequent to the file deletion) by another file allocation. In this event you are unlikely to either see the preview or be able to recover the file. You might find an edit/move/etc copy elsewhere on the disk, possibly by running a deep scan, but if not then the file has been lost forever.

PS you could have had an instant answer - good or bad - by just recovering the files and looking at what you recovered.
