Performance Optimizer did a scan then resulted in blank screen. On another computer the option demo came up which I stepped through. Then the optimizer worked correctly.
Please update to CCleaner v6.00 which has just been released (an hour ago).
The blank screen in Performance Optimiser preview that some users were getting has been fixed in CCleaner v6.00.

like nukecad said, the first thing would be to install the latest version of ccleaner, build 6.00.9727.
you didn't say which version of windows you are using. if you are using windows 7, that could be part of the problem as it is unsupported by microsoft.
