PC Stops working if "some" .exe File are triing to Delete

Hallo,

I´ve got a Problem witch makes me verry angry and i hope some one is able to solve it.

My Problem start some Month ago i starte CCleaner and woked on,

suddenly programms won´t open when i try to start them.

I tried to open the Task manager, nothing happend i tried to stop CCleaner no response.

I had pressed the Power button to Shutdown no response. (CPU/RAM were at ~20% nothing special i think)

So i had to remove the Power Cable, first time ever.

After that i restartet the PC and logged in, ccleaner is runnung from the auto start and the same problem again.

Then i removed CCleaner from auto Start, and every thing worked great.

I Discovered the File were CCleaner is Killing my PC und Deleted it Manualy (with TuneUp Shredder).

Started CCleaner and everything was great again.

Then some Days later the same with another File...

The Resolution was to set a filter and so CCleaner will never Clean my PC from EXE Files, but this is no Resolution.

After many versions after this i tried it again and the same like in the past happens.

So I´m writing my Problem down here, with the hope, that maybe some could help me.

At Atachment one of the Files CCleaner is unable to Delete.

VirusTotal of the Atachment: https://www.virustotal.com/de/file/15de06246baae220effc2124ff192bf8a1ee2c82b6d19bed2dd41d6e693be0ed/analysis/

xmlUpdater.zip

I hope i didn´t broke any rules with this but i need help and won´t delete CCleaner self.

Sorry for my terribly English.

It´s happend at the folliing Systems:

Win7 Enterprise x64, Bitdefender Internet Security 2013

Win 7 Home Premium x64, Bitdefender Internet Security 2013

Win 8.0 X64, Bitdefender InternetSecurity 2014

And all CCleaner Versions since the begining of this year i aktually use V4.08.4428 X64

first question has to be "Where did you get CCleaner from?" as it sounds like you may have installed something extra, if the correct program at all.

Did you get it from the official Piriform website, or FileHippo ?

What version, normal, pro, slim, portable ?

On all those other systems, was CC installed using the same downloaded software?

I downloaded it directly from Poroform every time and every time the normal (freeware) version.

And at every of my Systems it was new Downloaded and Installed at Admin.

how confident are you that all those systems are virus and malware free?

I'm wondering why CC on your system is cleaning EXE files, are they in Temp folders ?

One reason may be that EXE file is in use. xmlupdater.exe sounds suspicious to me...

a quick web search hasn't changed my mind about xmlupdater.exe either...

Like had written at first Post I´ve got installed BitDefender at all my Systems with the higest security setting (i´m a bit pranoid), and a VirusTotal support of the xmlupdater.exe file is there too, it´s clean.

The xmlUpdater.exe was liing at my temp folder, and some exe file at the Bin are doing the same like this exe.

The most exe files, witch are crashing my Systems when CCleaner try to Delete are UpdateFiles from Windows. (everytime .exe files)

The file is not in use i could rename/Edit/Move/Delete it however i want but if CCleaner tries too everything crashes.
