PC Disk is full...

Disk space is nearly full apparently back Im unclear as to what is filling it, the other documents don't add up to what it's saying.

can anyone suggest what the issue is, thank you!!!

I'm not sure just what you mean by that, but assume you mean 'Other Files'.

That includes all your OS files, Windows backups, Windows update files, etc., some of which will be in 'hidden' folders.

Try using Windows built in Disk Clean-up with the 'Clean up System files' option to reduce them. 

Especially make sure that "Windows Update clean-up" is selected, it can often contain GB of old Windows files.


It will take a long time to clean up the old system files. (Could be a couple of hours depending on how much is there)

(CCleaner no longer cleans those particular files, with Windows 10 it can be unsafe to remove them prematurely and so it's best left to Windows Disk Clean-up).
