Paragon Drive Backup 9.0 Free Edition for Windows

Just wondered what opinions were on this software.

You forgot the link. :P

I was looking at the system requirements and it says 100MB of disk space.

If I'm backing up my drive I would remove as much MB as possible, not add it 100MB.

Anyways, I'm downloading just to look at it.

Perhaps I should have included the link but I didn't because my question basically was if anyone had tried the software.

Let us know what you think of it when you check it out.

Like you said, adding 100MB is not ideal for sure :-)

Thanks metal.

I've still got Paragon Hard Disk Manager 8, which is just over 30mb installed. The size of this newer version put me off as well, besides already being a user of Macrium.

Well, first of all, you need to fill a small registration form before you can use it

(Praragon Rescue Kit registration doesn't work with it, you'll need a new one)

Everything is made in a simple wizard, so you won't get lost or wonder what to do, which is nice.

It has an utility to check backups for errors.

It also has a "Recovery Media Builder" that can make a bootable CD, USB or Firewire to recover images.

Overall, it's nice. :)
