I'm playing with Pale Moon 4 Portable, and after running it for a while all over the net, I ran CCleaner, but none of the cookies show up in the Cookie list. I do have Firefox fully installed and I cleaned it out before running Pale Moon. Is it because it's a portable that CCleaner can't see the Pale Moon cookies? (I'm running it from the folder in "Downloads", not from a USB stick.)
I don't have PM portable but the installer one as well as Fx 4. What I did find when right clicking on a file and selecting view detailed results (after analyzing) that PM's files are listed under Mozilla/Fx. Perhaps same thing happens with the portable? In any case, I don't keep any cookies after a browsing session.
@Dave Lister (love the name btw I just finished watch the entire run of Red Dwarf) Yes it is because it is The Portable version, you may be able to use Custom Locations to get it to see it.
@GRANDMA yes you are correct of late (the last few versions of CCleaner) Palemoon, and many other Mozilla-Based Browsers, is cleaned by the Mozilla/Firefox section. In the same vein, Chromium based browsers and cleaned via google/chrome in ccleaner.
