OpenDNS vs HostsMan, etc.

Okay, who here an give me an unbiased report on the pros and cons about OpenDNS vs HostsMan and similar programs?

Well the two you listed are different things.

OpenDNS is a set of DNS servers you can use in place of your ISP DNS server. Supposedly theyre a bit faster and it has phishing protection. If you create an OpenDNS account, you can also customize it for content filtering.

HostsMan is a program for managing your Hosts file. It can autoupdate (from several sources), edit, remove duplicates, among other features.

What anonymous_user posted is a good synopsis about the pros and cons of the two functions.
