When I have opened CCleaner and click to check for updates, it opens another instance of my browser instead of making good use of the one I have opened already. This is undesirable and a redundant waste of resources, and it would be preferable to look for what is available. thanks.
It all depends on how the hyperlink is coded with the Blank, Parent, Self or Top tags.
I do mine with Blank so it opens a new tab, leaving my current one alone and not needing to click the Backwards button to go back to where I was, I just close the new tab.
So there are pro's and con's to either method and personal preferences as well.
