Is CCleaner a one time purchase with unlimited updates because if so I will buy it, if not I'll look for something else I have a rule about doing subscription to software (well most software anyways) in that I rarely do it. Especially something like this... it's not like there are not other alternatives out there some being free.
With the "Pro" versions of ccleaner you get the basic ccleaner with a few extra features: multi-user cleaning, browser monitoring, automatic and optionally silent updates and priorty developer support. The latter two are one year limited (non-automatic payment, so not really "subscription"). Usually rhe Pro is thought as single year donation with perks. Mostly it allows the continuance of Piriform providing the free version for free for those, like yourself, not interested in purchasing yearly software that does the same cleaning as the free
