Old Mozilla Suite no longer supported (SEAMONKEY)

I just upgraded to Seamonkey 2.0. My browser history is linear; Mosaic, Netscape, Mozilla, Seamonkey.

I have been using CCleaner for a few years. I primarily use it for safe removal of browsing history (thorough erase), and I am pleased with the other things it takes care of. I have also used it as a tool to clean infected machines. I appreciate the tool greatly.

Though I can't say I have ever seen it listed as supported, CCleaner has always taken care of the OTHER Mozilla browser (Mozilla Suite, Seamonkey) until they parted with the old ways and joined paths with Firefox with 2.0. As other posts on this topic go unanswered, I thought I would provide the following:

--------From the Mozilla Seamonkey pages---

-"The SeaMonkey project ...excited to release...next generation of the all-in one Internet...SeaMonkey 2.0...,melds the ideas behind Netscape Communicator with the modern platform of Firefox 3.5 to create one of the most compelling OPEN SOURCE products for advanced Internet users."

-"the same browser core and web feature support as Firefox 3.5.1"...

-"SeaMonkey switched to Toolkit, the same backend Firefox uses internally. Due to this change SeaMonkey is now much closer to Firefox as far as user profiles, add-ons and functionality of user interface elements are concerned."

-"The default location of user profiles has changed."

-"History is now stored in a better database solution, so that it can easily keep more information, and the location bar determines which addresses to autocomplete and/or show in the drop down menu with a smarter algorithm based on what you type, searching in both URL and title of visited pages by default."

-"Gecko, the rendering engine used in SeaMonkey, has seen many improvements since the version used in the last stable release. Changes range from a better graphics backend (Cairo/Thebes) to improved support for fonts, CSS, DOM and JavaScript. SeaMonkey 2.0 Beta 1 passes the Acid2 test and most of Acid3 and includes all the new web-facing features also included in Firefox 3.5, such as audio/video elements, downloadable fonts and JIT-compiled JavaScript."

Perhaps this will be useful to staff who may read but do not reply.

I don't have reason to upgrade to the current version from 2.02. I have 2.02 on my three machines and have used it on many sick PCs while removing bugs. I think so highly of this functionality that I have it on my keychain.

Again, I appreciate CCleaner greatly, but now haven't bothered to run it since I upgraded to Seamonkey 2.0.
