I have noticed that in Notepad++, the recent files list and search history are not deleted.
This can be achieved by removing lines beginning with:
<File filename=" <Find name="
from config.xml.

Ccleaner cannot (yet) clean within xml/ini files. the developers have stated they are attempting to create a solution for this
