I don't even really know what some of these files are so have been pretty much just using CCleaner for Temp.Internet Files but out of curiosity I just enabled the Default settings in both Windows & Apps. & did just the Analysis which found 142.1MB. I don't even know if that amount is considered a lot. Anyway . . . my actual question is: should I really keep all the Default selections? I read somewhere that there's at least a couple that shouldn't be selected, especially by a PC novice. I guess the ones I really wonder about are:
The default settings, albeit safe, may not always be what every person is after.
Although those settings will not delete any personal files, they may remove Jump Lists or Saved Passwords (to name a couple of examples), and stuff that is of importance to each user.
So unfortunately there is no do or don't answer to your question @grits2
What I have found when I first started using CC is to run it with the defaults and see what undesirable things happened, like recent list of Office docs would vanish, so you'd find that option and uncheck it in CC and start again.
As to those 4 specific examples you give, I have always let CC remove them without ill-effect. Those files and what they hold I have no need to keep.
