For awhile, when I run CCleaner (3.09.1493 64-bit) on my Win7 Machine (also 64-bit), it doesn't really clean my Firefox 5.0. No matter how long I've been on or how many webpages I've visited, it sprints through the Firefox cleaning and always reports that it has cleaned 30 KB (4 files) in my Internet Cache and 64 KB (1 file) in my Download History. Any ideas or assistance? Thanks!
Does it detect cache files and the like when you analyze?
Is your Firefox profile located in a custom location? (If you installed Firefox, you'd know if it was, else it is not)

No, when I run analyze, it comes 4 file, 30KB Cache and 1 file, 64KB Download History, which can't be right. As far as my Firefox install, I went with the defaults, so that the Mozilla Firefox folder is in Program Files (x86). Now CCleaner is in Program Files, not Program Files (x86). Could that be the problem?
No that's not the problem. Those two folders are for differentiating 32 and 64bit program.
Try creating a new profile for yourself -
Close Firefox
navigate to %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
and copy your profile to your desktop.
now re-open firefox (it will look as if you've never opened it)
close firefox, copy the files from the folder you just put on to your desktop into the folder that is now in %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
Open firefox to confirm your settings have been restored.
Now try running CCleaner.
In AppData, I have two locations where Mozilla seems to be storing my profiles, in a "Local" folder and a "Roaming" folder. When I removed the profile from the "Local" folder, nothing happened, and Firefox opened with my bookmarks, etc. When I removed the profile from my "Roaming" folder, Firefox opened up like I had never used it. But when I returned the profile into the "Roaming" folder from my desktop, the problem with CCleaner persisted. I'm mystified.
Did you return the folder, or just its contents?
When you launched a new firefox session, a new folder should have been created.
ex. my profile name is 6o8hetz2.default, if I were to delete it, I'd get a new profile name like 5n7gdsy1.default
This time, I removed the profile file, thj5bylv.default, from both Local and Roaming folders. But after doing so, Firefox stopped working. When I tried to boot the program, it stated that the firefox process was still engaged, even though I could not find it in task manager. Then I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled. Same thing. It wouldn't boot. Then I reinstalled Firefox and inserted the profile file back into the Local and Roaming folders. Now Firefox works again, but CCleaner is back to the 30KB, 64KB "cleaning."
I'm starting to think I'm going to have to switch browsers, which is a shame. I'm pretty attached to Firefox and to the NoScript addon.
That sounds very strange.

Please reserve the word "boot" for a total restart of Windows.
The correct word for starting any application such as Firefox is Launch.
I suspect that you may have found "Firefox" was missing from the "Applications" TAB in task.
Did you look for it in the Processes TAB, and also look there for plugin-container.exe which are Firefox offspring.
I do believe that a REBOOT of Windows will often sort out problems with new installations,
and I am certain that this would terminate absolutely all processes and should prevent any "the firefox process was still engaged"
