Not cleaning cache or history

Just downloaded the latest free ccleaner and it doesn't clean the internet cache or history.

I use chrome. The last version would clear the history and cache and leave me with a blank tab. Now I go back to the pages I left off with.

I suspect that it's chrome moving where it stored things.

There was exactly the sane problem with the last Firefox update moving setting storage about.

Unticking 'sessions' cured it with FF, you might try that with Chrome.

I reinstalled the previous version and that works fine.

CCleaner 5.36-64bit free version, does not clean Facebook session in Microsoft Edge.
After closing Edge, running CCleaner and reopening, I'm still logged in Facebook.
No cookies for facebook have been saved. All cleaning options of Microsoft Edge (including session and passwords) and all options of Internet Explorer are checked.

Is this a bug, or new default behavior and if it is, can it be changed?
