Norton Internet Security 2013 Registry Entries

Hi all,

I've updated my Norton Internet Security, from version 2012 to version 2013.

Everytime I try to clean the registry there are 3 entries, always the same, from Norton Internet Security that CCleaner don't clean.

Can anyone help with this one?

Thanks,

Jorge

Yes, I have them also ...

HKCR\Symantec.Norton.SystemStatus

HKCR\Symantec.Norton.SystemStatus.1

They are always back after cleaning.

They may be protected reg entries, protected by Norton that is.

Just exclude them further ccleaner scans.

Those are the errors that are always coming back:

please read my signature. Also do analysis then right click the entry and choose exclude this. Believe me you wouldn't want Norton to fix this "issue' it's an obfuscation method to stop viruses anti-antivirus methods.

Hi all again,

Just to say that it only happens in my 64 bits Windows 7 PC. I have two other ones with Windows 7 32 bits versions and they are ok after Norton Internet Security upgrade.

This issue has already been answered above. Don't clean the entries, exclude them and be done with it. They are good and needed entries.
