Made a new account just to warn against using Driver Updater willy nilly, as it was only through the timely intervention of my System Restore which brought back the functionality of my Touchpad and Touchscreen of my laptop (HP Envy), and the Touchpad option in the Mouse settings in Windows 10. Fotunately, I was able to use a wired mouse to bring back and move my cursor which had disappeared directly after the Driver Update, so there's that.
