It's always interesting to see antivir/antimalware sites get hacked.

Well, glad I dodged that bullet a few years ago.
That must be a practical joke from somebody with an awakening sense of humor, and the joke is on the those whom are to protect our computers......
Just because they make an antivirus doesn't mean they can avoid website hacking.
Many times, companies specialize in malware/viruses/disk cleanup, etc.
No-one is an expert at everything...
What's their purpose hacking the websites? Is it for commercial purpose? i dare to say it's made by its competitors.
Depends on who is Hacking and what they are hacking. While in "modern" times Hacking is more so done for commericial (or criminal $ making) reasons there are still that hack "for the fun of it" (aka LULZ) or to say "you aren't as protected as you think" (as this seemed to be)
