No prompt to delete files

CCleaner has under Options/Advanced, a checkmark box for hiding warning messages.

I can't tell you how annoyed I am to still have the error message come up, after checking to hide them all, that pressing clean the 1st time I run CCleaner will really, yes, really, delete files permanently.

Is there a way to add this warning message to the list of messages disabled when a user selects for all warning messages to be disabled?

Still very active in the 3.11 CCleaner series...

I like CCleaner, I just don't like having to click, "Are you sure you want to delete?"

Thanks!

I'm not sure what exactly your problem is. Does the box not give the desired effect?

Checking the box to hide all warning messages, does not hide the warning "are you sure you want to delete", with permanant secure file deletion methods. And you have to click the box to say "never show this again".

In my view that is perfectly correct.

The option to suppress the deletion warning does NOT indicate that even RECUVA cannot undo any user stupidity.

This might be design, as Alan has noted, you can't (easily) recover securely deleted files.

CCleaner does this, even without a permanent delete method (secure erase).

Move your C:/program files/ccleaner/ccleaner.ini file to another location while ccleaner is closed, then ensure you install the latest ccleaner & run it.

After you verify that it does this, you can close ccleaner & move the .ini file back to the original C:/program files/ccleaner/ location.

It is annoying to have a "1st run" warning box, when you checkmarked to save all settings to .ini earlier, as well as hide warning messages.

What's the point in hiding the messages, if it still shows it? Checkmarking hide, should hide ALL of them.
