no history clean Chrome Canary

Chrome Canary Version 47.0.2497.0 canary

Chrome Version 44.0.2403.157 m

CCleaner Free v5.09.5343 (64-bit)

This had worked before but now apparently doesn't anymore. The history in Chrome Canary which is installed in parallel to "normal" Chrome is not at all cleaned up. Normal Chrome is cleaned ok. I cannot tell since which CCleaner/Chrome versions combination this doesn't work anymore as I noticed this now just by incidence. What can I do here? Thank you & kind regards

Same problem with Windows Chrome Version 45.0.2454.78 beta-m (64-bit) running on Windows 10: browser history is NOT cleaned by CCleaner Ver. 5.09.5343.
