Looks like queen is going to put out an album of new material. The lead singer is paul rodgers from Bad Company(they have been touring for a while). Hes a good singer and Bad Company is pretty good but I'm not liking this song at all. It might have been different if freddie was singing(lets face it, he could sing literally anything and it would sound good).
Its a pity I dont like this song because I really liked the old queen.
It's a very poor song and the lyrics are cringe-worthy/vomit inducing (so's the video BTW). It's time they let the Queen name rest in peace instead of tarnishing the legacy of a once great band (something they always insisted they'd never do)
If it wasn't a song by Queen I'd just think it was some made for radio Rock song that I would just ignore like all the other craptastic music they play on the radio. Having heard some previous Queen it's a very big disappointment.
Part of the "cringy" sound is due to the MP3 not being of the best quality, it's not in Joint Stereo, and it isn't a VBR encoding.
You've quite a decent collection of albums, a lot of which will probably never see the light of day again. Or so you thought, until you get something like this thread, and you realise that it's ages since you listened to that particular artist.
I dusted the cobwebs off Queens greatest hits I & II, and I've been listening to them all week. Great stuff.

I have stuff I haven't listened to in probably 10-15 years. That's just one of the problems I have being that I have a collection that's beyond the my capability of listening to it all.
A long time ago I used to try to listen to at least 2 audio CD's in my collection per day, however in order to go through my whole collection that would take over 3 years to accomplish.
