New feature: /RESTART cmdline flag

I would appreciate if CCleaner woul provide in the next release an /RESTART flag similar to the /SHUTDOWN cmdline flag.

Yes, I know, users can simulate a restart by creating a batch file and put an additional "shutdown" command inside.

But this is somehow swkward and unhandy.

I think implementing a /RESTART flag is very easy.

Thank you

Thomas

Interesting. I don't see why not.

+1

i thought the reason for the SHUTDOWN switch would be for when you want to kick off a defrag process and couldn't be bothered to hang around while it does its thing.

start it off & go to bed, safe in the knowledge it wil turn your PC off for you.

why would you want it to turn the PC back on?

on a server maybe, i could see the point. or any similar PC that you want 24/7 access too.

+1 because after I have CCleaner Wipe Free Space I manually restart the computer so Windows can sort out the MFT changes, etc.

When will this option be implemented?

it may never be. :)

all depends on whether Piriform deem it worthy or how many people request it.
