New browser preview

Loaded up new preview v75.1.103.145, or so I thought. I went to the link in your post and clicked on download. After I had finished installing it and looking around a bit, it said it had updated to this version.

Is the first big green download button on that page not the new preview then?

When page first loads after install it is on the left hand side of my screen and goes about a third of the way across. Maximizing it works ok (1920x1080)

Of course after adjusting the cookies setting etc to my liking I couldn't sign in on forum  I had to agree to always allow forum.piriform.com.

Turned of most things in Privacy and Security etc (cannot believe you still have Ask as an offered search provider.)

One of the settings for faster browsing, Preloading Pages, cannot be turned off and it says it uses cookies. Have you some info about that please?

Open PDF's in CCleaner browser is pre-ticked.

EDIT.. Ublock origin installs fine once you tell the browser to stop blocking it !!

That would be a no-no for me.

Due to being in a rural location I often need to tether using my phone through a metered connection, (doing it now), I always turn off preloading to save my metered data allowance.

Cannot be switched off? Or cannot be switched on?

Cannot be altered. It is as in your screenshot.

That is locked off - no pre-loading. I suspect most recommended privacy and performance configurations would inherently disable it. I'll check if that should even still exist as an option.

Should this topic be moved to the following forum?

Ooops - my bad. I had moved it to CCleaner suggestions by accident. Back where it should be.
