For security reason,install Nero without Ask Toolbar.
Blah, they should've thought of that years ago instead of making deals to have their crippled version included with burner drives that never quite worked right from my experience. It's nice that they have a freeware version - now - however there's significantly smaller freeware burning software floating about that's full featured like CDBurnerXP.

This version of Nero 9 contains simply data burning and disc copying features for CDs and DVDs. Additional features and functionality are available with an upgrade to Nero 9 full version.

System requirements:
~270MB hard drive space for a typical installation of all components.
I downloaded and installed and all you can do is burn just files, and copy disks without protection.

I installed this nero free a few days back - huge disappointment & a gigantic download - far too basic to be of any use to me.

Back to my favourite and first choice, Ashampoo.
Now I use CDBurnerXP as optional.
I always thought you could use Ashampoo.
