Every few days I need to reinstall ccleaner, because it doesn’t work anymore. Only the following menu items are shown and the Scan now button doesn’t work:
It’s very annoying and cumbersome to have to reinstall the app everytime.

Please let me know what version of CCleaner you are using by going to Settings> Updates, and if you are not on V7.5, please update CCleaner and let me know if you continue to experience the issue?
@1974Pim the CCleaner 7 service is not running. Please follow the instructions below to resolve the issue.
To fix this issue, you need to restart the CCleaner 7 service. To restart the service, follow the steps below:
1. Press the Windows + R keys on your desktop.
2.Type in the following text and then press Enter.
services.msc
3. If you see a prompt, click Yes.
4. In the Services window, right-click CCleaner 7 and click Properties.
5. In the Properties window, under General tab, next to Startup Type, from the drop-down list select Automatic.
6. Under Service Status, click Start.
7. Click Apply and then click OK.

Unfortunately I encountered the same issue again today. This time it seems the CCleaner service is running:
Thank you for this screenshot @1974Pim, please generate some log files for CCleaner so we can investigate this further by following the steps below.
- Download and install the CCleaner Support Tool using the link below: https://download.ccleaner.com/CCleanerSupportTool.exe
- Replicate the issue on your end.
- Run the tool to generate the logs.
- At the end of the process, you’ll receive a 5-digit File ID.
Please share that File ID with me so we can review the logs.
