Just ran CCleaner and now it seems I am missing a windows file. So, I had made a backup file before running CCleaner. But when I go to that backup file and select merge from the menu, it asks for an association to be made before it will restore. First time this has happened. So, when I look under file types it has nothing associated with the file in the "open with" part. If I go into advanced and try to choose a program to open with, and select CCleaner, it says adobe will open that reg file type. So, I am not used to using the file association program so can anyone let me know what I am doing wrong to fix things?

Thanks for this hazelnut. I looked at that link of files and just downloaded the reg one, which was included in the whole list of files. When I extract it and then unzip, it still tells me that I need to create an association. I may be doing something wrong, not sure. Well, just read the rest of that thread telling to run regedit. Did that and it seems to have worked. I am still showing a missing dll file but it may be in the other software program I am now going to try and redownload. Thank you for the help and for the "welcome message."
