I'm attempting to recover a file from a NAS drive (designated Z: on our small network). I tried the free version of Recuva, which would allow me to scan the hard drive on my laptop only. We purchased Recuva Pro thinking this would allow us to scan the network
drive, but I haven't been able to figure out how to get the software to scan that drive. The software only seems to allow me to save the vhd file on the network drive. I attempted to install Recuva Pro directly on the NAS, but that didn't work (it wouldn't install).
Where do I go from here?
