My paid subscription of ccleaner 7 is not working. When I open it up, there is only a partial menu on the left side, and I cannot choose what to clean or do. Please let me know what to do.
Thanks Nergal for replying to my post, this is a wonderful community that has helped me many times. Thanks for all of you people that are kind to other’s. After I made the post, I thought that I wold close everything and restart my PC, when it started back up, I opened the program, and it worked ok just like you said.
I have this issue repeatedly on my Windows11 laptop EVERYTIME a Windows update is installed and the system is restarted. I end up reinstalling CCleaner and then have to update to CCleaner7.
Neither of those (reinstalling and updating) is needed for this issue, it is simplly starting the service. As I said, if you have repeated issues with this, look into what software you have that is refusing the service’s automatic running, maybe security maybe something else that “Optimizes” start up, maybe (though doubtful) Malware.
As the admin in the linked thread says a fix for service not started is in process.

Also having this same problem on a Windows 11 System. Have not found anything stopping it. It runs okay on my Windows 10 computer however.
