i enabled a deep scan and it found tons of porn that isnt mine, it couldnt have been me and i wouldnt do it because my computer is a school computer and can be tracked, it isnt mine i swear to god. unless someones been using my computer??
that reminds me my dad and 2 little brothers use it??
it happened to my friend too!!!
someone used your computer for porn.
Better get trackin' ![]()
you may have at some point been hit by a popup virus?
else I'd say you need to password protect your computer and tell dad and (esp) brothers they are not allowed to use it.
if, for sure, you will never use porn on that computer (a personal choice if I've ever heard one) you can block those sites via a myriad of secure methods
The 3 main ways it can get infected, are:
- Someone else using your PC -> Viewing XXX/Copying XXX from DVD or flash media (or temp files created from such media on your PC as it is being watched)/User installs malware
- Drive by malware infection -> Using IE & visiting maliciously crafted websites.
- Programs -> Dropper that silently self installs when you install a "free/trial/etc." screensaver or program.
* Lesser used, but possible -> Remotely controlled PC, or someone "hacks" into your PC because it isn't password protected or firewalled.

Yep, happened to me years ago. At the same moment my spouse decided to come into the room and say hi. Was too late to throw a blanket over the monitor. Had some frantic explaining to do. Difficult to do because I had no idea myself what had happened. Honest. I didn't. Honest ...
Anyway, if I understand correctly, such a situation will leave unsavory images in the MFT even if you delete everything else you can find, is that right?
Why not partition the drive?
Then you can format the old partition with Windows & wipe it.
Set windows up on the new partition & wipe the free space, & voila!
no need for partition and rebuild of computer, if the existence of such images is so offensive (to yourself, your workplace, your significant other, and/or etc) and the addition of them is not a regular occurrence (i.e you never, on your own, or as a couple visit this sort of website) there's no reason not to run a single pass mft wipedrive with CCleaner
