missing -> visit the BUILDS PAGE to download (link)

Win 8, FireFox Quantum 58.0.2, Windows Defender.

The link from hazelnut's post #2 opens the builds page and it shows all 3 versions. Is not true for you, CSGalloway?

The link in my signature does too.

Well, I've refreshed (ctl-F5) the builds page, run CC, restarted my pc, turned Defender off and on, and still no slim version in sight.

Hey guys, can you try the non-HTTPS version of the page and tell me what you see?

http://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds

http://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download/slim/downloadfile

The builds page opens but does not show the slim version.

When I first tried the direct link to the slim version 30 mins ago a blank page opened along with a download box which seemed to be fine. Now when I try it again all I get is a blank page.

Blank ?

Hi, I've found the issue. Our web dev has resolved this now so it should be working for anyone who didn't see the Slim build previously.

H, yes, on first try the direct link to the slim version opened a pure white page and a separate download box (don't know what the tech name is for them) for the slim version. Now all I get is a blank page.

http://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds . . . opens builds page all 3 versions show

http://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download/slim/downloadfile . . . downloads ccsetup540_slim.exe

edit: running win xp, uBlock origin, Avast

Hi,

1st link works to download slim, but not the 2nd (URL points in realty to http://www.ccleaner.com/ ) Some links above change after signing-in and permit access to slim download; very strange as access to builds never needed to create an account before; is this an information to know ? Had always non-HTTPS versions of the pages, my AV (non desabled) is from a third party on W7 x64. May be some URLs appear as fakes in my location only ???

I am now seeing the slim version (along with the installer and portable) on the builds page via both the http and https urls.

Hopefully this has now been resolved. But it begs the question posited by the O/P in this thread, why is the builds page effectively hidden, as there is no link to it from Piriform's site?

I personally think this is a bad move of Piriform/Avast's part.

https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds

i can see the normal, portable and the slim-version

https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download/slim

and this works too

but why cant simply back the link on the download-page?

Work for me also. Where come these links from as they are ?

this are the download-links from the ccleaner download-page:

http://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download

below of the title (entry) at the second half of this page was a link before it was removed now

Quote
<div class="ipsQuote_contents">

	</p>

	<h3>

	<div>

		</p>

		<p>
			<span style="color:#e74c3c;">try the <strong><u>builds page</u></strong>.</span>
		</p>
	</div>

	<p>

	</p>
</div>

but "try the builds page" was removed i dont know why exactly

<p>

</p>

I know I would never have used ccleaner if it weren't for the portable build.
