I am trying to re-download Turbo Lister2 from eBay. Never had any problems
till recently. Have uninstalled it etc properly as far as i know. Download
seems to fail to re-install at last minute and I get a message headed
Application Error
The instruction at "0x7c911669" referenced memory at "0xffffffff". The
memory could not be "read"
I click OK to terminate and hey presto am back to square one.
Have searched the MS knowledge base. Tried e-mailing Microsoft etc etc.
Anyone any ideas? I would be most grateful. Someone did suggest it was a registry issue..but that doesn't get me far
I understand there are some products on sale that claim to solve these
problems but wouldn't know which of them were a waste of time.
I'd be grateful for any suggestions.
There's information at the following two links well worth reading:

This will most definitely save any of the guys on here spending too much time researching your problem.
Well dj, since we spoke via pm, I haven't been able yet to find much on your problem. The concensus seems to favour a lack of memory problem, but googling brings up very little.
We need some input from any of the guys who may have come across this before. In the meantime I'll keep my eyes open for anything that may help.
Post here if you manage to find a fix, as the info will be useful.
Out of interest, what are your specs. Operating System, amount of RAM etc.?
EDIT:
I've now come across a lot of problems with Turbo Lister 2.
Best advice is to make sure you've uninstalled it properly first. You could try the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and see if it picks up anything for Turbo Lister 2. Apparently it needs to be uninstalled fully before a new install can be made.
I'd then eMail the support at eBay, who seem to have been dealing with quite a few problems with that program. In the meantime you could always try Turbo Lister 1, which seems less problematic from what I've read.

Hope that helps.
