Messenger Avatar

Hello, how I can set ccleanr for not delete the messenger avatar of other people, when I run it? I try to deselect msn messenger, but it clean the avatar anyway  . Thanks all!

I don't use Messenger however I assume you'd need to uncheck the cleaning of Internet Explorer, possibly Temporary Internet Files.

Hi Andavari, I have just try with uncheck the cleaning of Internet Explorer, but these files aren't Temporary Internet Files  ...

Any ideas? ;)

Well I was wrong then. :P

Nope, I don't have any idea 'cause I don't use Messenger. Other than that about the only other thing would be to untick MSN Messenger/Windows Live Messenger (or whatever it's called these days) in CCleaner.

I just look at the MSN Messenger cleaning routine and it only removes a registry key in (HKCU\Software\Microsoft\MessengerService\ListCache\.NET Messenger Service), so I don't know how it would remove physical files which had me initially thinking of it being tied into Internet Explorer's Temporary Internet Files.

I found the selection that delete the messenger avatar. It's under system, temporary files. But, with the not selection of this function, CCleaner not delete ALL the system temporary files, right?
