When I try to merge the back up registry files that I made with ccleaner during a registry clean I get the message
"registry editing has been disabled by your administer" and I am not allowed to merge it.
Can someone tell me how too fix this?

This message usually indicated you are not the administrator of the PC.
Is this you personal PC or a business PC/Laptop?
As usually businesses only give users "user" account's without admin privileges.
Depending on you Acceptable Use, saying that's a work computer try this
;Batch File that will allow;you to remove registry restrictionreg add HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system /v DisableRegistryToolsy
Save this as a batch file to your desktop and double click it. Originally, I made this to help stop a virus that was blocking my registry.
If this doesn't work you might have to do HKU\{SID} instead
It is my own personal pc and I am logged in as the owner so i guess that should give me full admin access.
comper6, please be more specific. I don't know what u are referring too.
