I used CCleaner for the first time a couple of weeks ago & since doing so have lost the use of my media players. Audio tracks are OK, but anything with video & audio completely freezes the whole pc & a reset is needed.
Have tried numerous mpg & streamed content, have used WMP(9 & 10) & Real MP but the reaction is always the same.
I am running XP + SP2. My initial reaction was that it must be graphics or sound card, so have uninstalled all drivers, & reinstalled latest updated versions. Still no change.
Does anyone have any ideas because it's driving me mad....
