Maybe a bug in CCleaner

CCleaner (current version, slim build) reports a file with ie icon (temporary internet file). On requesting it to be deleted, 0 bytes are removed.

Running WIN 7 64 bit.

It may be an empty file.

You could try rebooting & seeing it if gets removed.

If you are using IE, or programs that hook IE in some way, it may cause it to resist removal.

Usually, a reboot is a quick way to unhook processes & test it out.

If this fails to remove it, could you post back with the name of the file it doesn't remove, as well as the location it resides in?

Thanks!

Probably it would help if you told us what you meant by

reports a file with ie icon (temporary internet file).

where does it report this file, what is the file? is it currently in use?
