Great article. And I loved the title.
Rayovac user myself, but if I can't find those I'll also get Panasonic batteries!
I got curious about this virus business so I bought one from Amazon for 4 quid which is not bad considering I get free delivery and 2 x 900mAh AAA batteries thrown in.
I was hoping they provided a mini CD but apparently the software used in conjunction with the USB device must be downloaded from their homepage: http://www.energizerrecharge.eu/en/range/chargers/usb
I suppose this was a smart move on their part although considering it's 3 years old it kind of worrying just how many people have actually took the trouble to download and install the software with the malware infection.
The software has now been pulled (although wayback machine still has copies) as stated here - http://www.energizer.com/usbcharger/download/March_8_2010_USB_Release__3_.pdf
