Now a days spyware seems to be hiding in the macromedia shared objects and macomedia cookies. Especially FlashPlayer.
I manually kept mine clean.
Thanks

ccleaner by default only cleans cookies from flash sites. It DOES NOT clean Flash website storage history, which is cookie like data. Sometimes the directories are empty and other times not so much.
There is a winapp2.ini entry for flash player
[~flash 10] LangSecRef=3023 DetectFile=%windir%\system32\Macromed\flash\flashplayer.xpt Default=True FileKey1=%appdata%\macromedia\flash player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys|*.*|REMOVESELF| FileKey2=%appdata%\macromedia\flash player\#sharedobjects\|*.*|RECURSE|REMOVESELF|
This should clean the requested directories (the ones that are not cleaned by default.)
