lost partition recover?

hey recuva,

i always thought you the best, now my partition f disappeared from my second hard drive, i tried recuva, found it worked nothing.

Recuva recovers deleted files but it should be able to recover files even if the partition table was corrupted, most decent recovery programs can.

The inability to "Deep scan" for files with RAW drives is a serious limitation of the software that needs addressing.

I didn't realise that about Recuva and I thought he wanted to recover the whole partition not just the files on it.

You could try this:

Undelete Partition

A restored partition will be fully functional, as long as other partitions were not created, moved or exceeded the disk space.

Worth a try.

Hard disks seen as RAW can also be fixed via Windows Recovery Console, on XP at least.

recuva is the best deletion files recover freeware i've ever used before, although it cannot do anything about lost partition recovery. if you need to recover the files from your lost partitions, ok, just other special partition recovery is the way. i found this article would be a hand: restore lost hard disk partitions

thanks for your good suggestions. i did find recuva is only special for deletion files recovery.

i tried rescue kit, sorry, i am not a professional one, it is a little bit difficult for me to understand how to do, because i am afraid it will destroy all the files
