Lost my Hard Drive Volumes

So heres my issue and I am hoping one of you fine people will know the answer.

I have an external WD 250 gb hard drive. I had two separate partitions on it before which i wanted to merge. So I deleted the partitions, but now the drive volume doesnt show up at all.

For example, when i use Belarc advisor, the disk drive shows i have a 250 gb disk, but the volume doesnt show up as space. And there is no icon under my computer. I dont know how to get it back. All I want to do, is have my computer recognize the disk drive so i can use it to put data on again. Its empty right now, so im not worried about losing data.

i did use the demo version of paragon 8.5 from vunet to get the partititions back, but unfortunately the demo version doesnt allow for that. if i could recover them, i would just merge them together.

anyone have any suggestions? im totally at a loss and have a useless disk drive right now.

thanks!

i think this should work. Right click on my computer-manage-disk management, your lost hard drive should be there-the one with 250g. Finally, you just have to format it to get it back again.

Another way is gpart, really easy and free!

hmmmm.ok i see it there. and thanks by the way. next question is how do i format? its been a long while.

i think i got it. thanks 1200! :) this has been bugging me for a few weeks but ive been working so much i couldnt even look at it.

yeah,in the disk management, you just have to right click on the hd then on format. Hope it works. By the way, nice laptop specs.
