Makes me wonder about the wisdom of Defragglers "Move large files to the end of the drive" routine.
That could put your drive out of balance resulting in unwanted vibration, and the read/write problems that could arise from that.
Disappointing that their female moderator felt the need to "unpropose" so many of the best answers.
