Last build (5.36.6278) restores Explorer folder view settings on Fall Creators Update

Hi, I've done a clean install of Windows 10 with the launch of the Fall Creators Update and when I run Ccleaner, it restores the Explorer folder view. All column's order, size colum, etc turns to default values.

For example, when I go to “My computer” -> View -> Details , the explorer view will change. Then I run Ccleaner and when I go again to “My computer” the view it’s restored to default instead of showing the “detailed view”. Happens the same with folders, if on a folder I set “Adjust all columns” they will resize to show all the texts but after run Ccleaner it will be changed to the default column size.

I’ve checked all options I’ve marked on Ccleaner but I can’t find what’s the option that causes it, so I think maybe it’s a bug.

Regards.

Make sure you don't have this ticked in Windows Column ..Advanced.... Windows Size/ Location Cache.

Hi Hazelnut! That option it's unticked, that's the reason I've post this issue :(

Regards.

I've got a similar problem n W7Pro; it keeps hauntig me every now and again when there is a new release.

CC should save the settings (previous ticks etc.) when upgrading, but ... eventhough the settings remain the same, the results are not.

The W Explorer folders view changes after running clean up ... e.g. from big thumbnails it returns to default view.

(never had the above problem Aker666 has)

Must be a flaw that will be corrected and it seemed relevant here in this post.

Works fine on W8 and W10.

Thanks
