Keeping user names on websites

I am a new user. How can I keep my user names on websites? CCleaner wipes them out. Do I "uncheck" something?

Go to Options>Cookies and move the cookies for those sites to the 'Cookies to keep' side (if you've deleted them you'll need to revisit the sites and sign in again before the cookies will show up)
