CCleaner has been working well for me, except that it always removes my lists of recent files accessed in MS Office applications. (What I mean are the "recently used file" lists shown when you click on FILE in MS Word, Excel, etc.) Is there any way to have CCleaner leave those lists intact when cleaning? Thanks!
Welcome to the CCleaner Forums bbaxter56!
To keep your office MRU list intact do the following:
1. Run CCleaner then click in the large Cleaner area: Applications
2. Scroll down to the Applications area and untick your displayed version of MS Office.
Note: This will also allow your Word and other Office settings to stop getting wiped out everytime you run CCleaner, you can do a forum search will reveal more of what I'm stating.
Unselecting 'MS Office' has done the trick. Thanks!
