"javaw" update
I've been getting this message every time I start up my computer. Windows Firewall is blocking it and asking if I want to accept it.
What is javaw and should I update it?

Yes, you should update Java (Java Runtime Environment). You can disable automatic update check by going to Java options (Start>Control panel>Java) or going to MSConfig (Start>Run>type msconfig, then going to Startup tab and unchecking Java update.
