Not being a computer expert I'm not sure about a JAVA update that automatically runs on my computer.

Just what does/is Java and should I update?

There is a box with a check in it which states "check for updates automatically."

Message in Update:

On the 22 of each month Java Update will check for updates. An icon will appear in the system tray if an update is available. Move the cursor over the icon to see if an update is available. You will be notified before the update is down-loaded.

I checked the link. I don't think I really need Java for what it is telling me, however I'm not sure if at some point I will need it.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be helpful.
