I renewed my CCleaner license (for 3 devices) earlier this month before it expired. I received my license key, which I activated. I use the software, then the next day got a notification to say my CCleaner has expired and I need to upgrade. I re-enter the licence key, and it works again. Until I get the next notification telling me it has expired. This has happened multiple times since I renewed. I had nothing but problems last year too when I renewed and I’m getting frustrated. Please, what is the fix?
@Laurence_CCleaner can you help here.
This is a user forum and we can’t deal with account and license issue, but I have alerted someone who can
Thank you, I’ve reentered my license again and it’s working (again currently) but would be good to hear from someone in the know ![]()
There is sometimes a delay before the two license times sink up, maybe it was that idk
Hi @Siubhan,
Sorry, you are experiencing this issue.
Please let me know what platform you are experiencing this issue on, i.e., Windows, Android, or Mac?
If you have any questions, please message me back.
I think perhaps that might have been it. It seems ok now… Finger crossed
Hi Laurence, I’m wondering if Nergal was correct in that there is sometimes a delay in the license keys catching up as it seems to be ok now. I’m on Windows 11. Fingers crossed it remains all good. I’ll reach out to you via here if it falls over again ![]()
@Siubhan, glad to hear that it everyting seems to be ok now.
Please message me back if you continue to experience issues so I can advise you further.
Will do, to quote the original Top Gun movie “It’s lookin’ good so far”
Hey Laurence, juist following on from this, I keep receiving emails advising my CCleaner has expired and I need to upgrade, but I already paid, and am subscribed to the pro version (although I do double check every time I receive the email as it has been a bit touch and go in the past). Do I just keep ignoring the emails? Am wondering if, when my end of year rolls around again will this cause an issue?
Can you have a look at this @Laurence_CCleaner
Hi @Siubhan,
I can see from our records that your license is valid until 2027, so you should definitely not be seeing any renewal emails.
Please could you post a screenshot of these messages so I can advise you further.
All personal details, such as name, your email address, and license key, can be hidden. I just need to see the email and how it is formatted to confirm it is a genuine CCleaner email.
If you have any problmes wiht this please message me back.
Thank you for these screenshots @Siubhan, I have sent you a DM for more details on this.
