After defragging my HDD, should I now optimize my SDD? I have read a bit about Trimming and Zero Filling, so I'm guessing that the optimize option does that to an SSD?
Also, what optimize does to HDD and when or why should I use it on them?
assuming it's Windows 10, and you haven't changed the setting, Win10 will Optimise your SSD once a week (or is it monthly, I can't remember) by default.

Thanks for the reply. I am using windows 7 ultimate and this is the current condition of the SSD after finishing defragging my HDD:
the data is not kept/accessed the same on SSD's as it is on mechanical drives.
and the I/O rates for SSD cells are ridiculously fast.
there simply is so little performance to be gained compared to the downside of the enormous increased read/write cycles the process would have.
the TRIM command is all any SSD needs.
what brand is the SSD? Intel and Samsung come with their own software and checking firmware updates, doing TRIMs and optimising Services for best performance.
