I certainly am a long way from you in the UK. Just 3 weeks ago my wife and I drove down to the most Southern part of Tasmania to a place called Cockle Creek, where the road STOPS, Yes the dirt / sand road actually stops, you can not drive any further south on any formed track, right of way or dirt road. Funny thing to state, but it felt good. follow the link for more info & enjoy.
