Is ccleaner mac optimized for Tahoe?

I’ve installed it and it runs, but is it optimized and can I trust its actions?!

I don’t trust it on Sequoia, if that gives you any idea of how it might operate on Tahoe. Out of curiosity, what is the version number of it that you have running on Tahoe?

2.10.192 …and I cannot find more than FAQ so that I could ask the support team!

All customers can now access a ‘Live Chat’ support service.
To start raise a support ticket by using this: Contact Form.
Once you submit the form you will be given a support ticket/ID number onscreen, with a summary of your request.
Below that is the button to go straight into the ‘Live Chat’ where a virtual assistant will try to help you. If the AI can’t help then you will be passed to a real person.

Thanks! That contact form is indeed very well hidden … I opened a ticket and will let you know their answer …

You may want to try again - we have been told that you HAVE TO engage with the chat or you may not get a reply to your request form.

Seems daft to me, but that is what we have been told.

I did so and was talking to an AI bot.

It say’s that there is no macOS Tahoe 26.0.1
I wanted to talk to a human, which is not possible.

Very sad.

Tell the bot a couple of times you want a human and it should forward you (I’ve not tried it but anecdotally others have said that works)

I’ve deinstalled CCleaner.
It’s very bad and not trustworthy anymore if they make it so difficult to get information / support, inacceptable.
Sad since for so many years it was a perfect tool, mainly under Windows :frowning:
